BuddhatuJadi

 

Jadhadi hill is located at Pulpara on the Bandarban-Chandraghona road, 4 km from Buddhadhatu Jadibandarban town. There is an interesting Buddhist temple on the top of this hill. The name of this golden temple of Buddhists is Buddhadhatu Jadi. Regular prayers are held at this temple. There is a pond of gods on the top of another hill. You have to go down to the pond barefoot. Buses, rickshaws and tempos can be reached from the Sangu Bridge in the city.

Megla Tourist Complex
 

This beautiful place is located on the Bandarban-Chittagong road, about five kilometers away from Bandarban city. There are several lakes over a large area. There is a suspension bridge to get to the other side of the lake. On the other side is a zoo and a mini safari park. You can also take a boat trip on Meghla Lake. The tourist complex is open from morning till evening. There is also a four-room restroom.

 

Nilachal is the highest hill near Bandarban city. The height of this hill is about one thousand feet in Tiger Para, about four kilometers away from the city. Standing here, one can see the beauty of many places, including the city of Bandarban. You have to cross the winding path and climb to the top of the hill here. The view of the sunset on the western horizon can be seen very well from here. There is a restaurant and a rest house run by Bandarban district administration. If you dont have your own vehicle, you have to take a moon car from the city.

A beautiful place on the way from Bandarban city to Chimbuk is a cliff. Its distance from the city is 6 kilometers. The icy waterfalls here flow throughout the year. The rocky path flows endlessly through the waterfalls of the cliffs. This rocky path is very flat. Next to the cliff there is a mobile market for local tribals. You can buy their sheets and mountain fruits from this market. Next to it is a village of Bam tribes. Here you can see the diverse lifestyle of the bombs.

Chimbuk

Chimbuk hill is 18 km away from Shaili Prapat. The inaccessible hilly path of Chimbuk is very winding. Somewhere the path is very steep. The summit of Chimbuk hill is surrounded by green and dhu dhu horizon. If the sky is clear, the visibility goes to the Bay of Bengal. There is a telephone exchange tower on the top of Chimbuk hill. All the police stations of Bandarban have telecommunication with this place. Roads and towns have a restroom here. There is an army camp in front of Chimbuk. You can eat in the canteen here. You can come and see with the permission of the army. Zia pond is located on the top of another hill one kilometer in front of here. At other times the pond is full of water even though there is no water.

Ruma Bazar
 

Ruma is an upazila town about 52 km from Bandarban. Weekly markets are held on Mondays and Thursdays in this small market. One kilometer away from Ruma Bazar, in the Bethel neighborhood, there are Bum tribes. In addition, there are many Bum families living around the market. From Bandarban city every day at 9 am, 11 pm, 1 pm, the moon car leaves for Rumara. It takes about three hours to go. You have to get off the moon car at Ruma Ghat and from there you have to come to Ruma Bazaar by boat. There are three standard hotels to stay in Ruma Bazaar. Hotel Keokradong, Hotel Hilton and Mong Guest House.

Rizuki shower

Rizuk is a beautiful natural spring in Ruma Upazila. From a height of about three hundred feet on the banks of the river Sangu, water flows in this spring throughout the year. The locals call it B Swang Swang. From Ruma Bazaar you can go to Rizuk Falls by motor boat.

Boga Lake
 

Boga Lake is the highest lake in Bangladesh. The height of this lake from the sea level is about three and a half thousand feet. The water of this lake, which is spread over an area of ​​about 15 acres, seems to be dark blue from afar. You have to go to Boga Lake from Ruma Bazaar. If it is not raining, jeeps are available from time to time. Otherwise the only way is to walk. Although it is a little difficult to walk, you can see a lot. And it will take about four hours on foot. You can also stay here at night. There is also a Young House Association Rest House for accommodation.

White Shrimp Falls

 

About two kilometers on the way from Boga Lake to Keokradong, the waterfall at the two sources will fall on the left hand side. The beauty of this waterfall is more because it flows in a few steps.

 

Keokradong is about five kilometers away from Ruma Bazaar. Before Tajingdong was identified, it was the highest mountain in the country. Its height is about 4332 feet. Saikatpara and Darjeeling Para, four kilometers away from Boga Lake. Bombs live in these two neighborhoods. Keokradang is only one kilometer away from here.
