রাজশাহী বিভাগের অন্যতম একটি জেলা পাবনা। এ জেলার উত্তরে নাটোর ও সিরাজগঞ্জ, দক্ষিণে রাজবাড়ী ও কুষ্টিয়া, পুর্বে মানিকগঞ্জ ও সিরাজগঞ্জ এবং পশ্চিমে পদ্মা নদী, নাটোর ও কুষ্টিয়া জেলা অবস্থিত। পদ্মা, ইছামতি, গুমানী, হুরাসাগর এ জেলার প্রধান নদী। পাবনা সদর, বেড়া, ভাঙ্গুড়া, চাটমোহর, ফরিদপুর, ঈশ্বরদী, সাঁথিয়া ও সুজানগর পাবনার নয়টি উপজেলা।

Pabna is one of the districts of Rajshahi division. It is bounded on the north by Natore and Sirajganj, on the south by Rajbari and Kushtia, on the east by Manikganj and Sirajganj and on the west by Padma river, Natore and Kushtia districts. Padma, Ichhamati, Gumani, Hurasagar are the main rivers of the district. Pabna Sadar, Bera, Bhangura, Chatmohar, Faridpur, Ishwardi, Santhia and Sujanagar are nine upazilas of Pabna.
