Ghajini Holiday Center

 

A leisure center has been set up at Ghazni at the foot of Garo Hills, 24 km away from Sherpur district town. It is located in Kangsha union of Jhenaigati upazila. On the way to Ghazni, some distance away from Rangtia, these two sides of the shawl (local name Gajari) forest-covered black back road will catch everyones attention. On the way to Madhutila through the district port of Nalitabari, two kilometers towards Bhurunga Kalapani, there is a beautiful spring Ranjana on the hill. Madhutila Ecopark is located in Poragaon Union, 30 km from Sherpur and 17 km from Nalitabari. Under the Mymensingh Forest Department, this ecopark has a leisure center and a high observation tower. There are also arrangements for boating on the lake. You can easily reach here by renting a car, microbus or tempo from Sherpur.

Kings Mountain

 

Rajas hill is the highest point in the Bangladesh part of the hill located in Srivardi district of the district. Legend has it that a king used to live here in ancient times. That is why it is called Rajas hill.

Kalibari Devta Pond -

Nalitabari Upazila Another place of interest is Kalibari Devta Pond. The pond is located on a hill bordering Meghla, 18 km from the upazila. About 400 meters long and 200 meters wide, this reservoir is full of water throughout the year.
