Palli Kabir Bari

 
 

The house of the village poet Jasimuddin was burnt at Ambika, two kilometers away from the district town. The poet is sleeping here forever. His house still has four old tin houses. In one of them the poet used to write and there are various things used by him. Jasim Mela is held in Ambikapur in January every year.

Jagadbandhu Sundar Ashram

 

Jagadbandhu Sundar Ashram on the side of the highway adjacent to the bus station in Faridpur town. Jagadbandhu established a beautiful ashram on the occasion of the Bengal Rath Yatra of 1308. Every year on the 2nd of Kartik, day and night Mahanam Sankirtan is performed here.

 
 

There is a domed mosque built by Sultan Alauddin Shahenshah in Satair village of Boalmari upazila of the district. It is said that Alauddin Hussain Shah built the mosque in honor of one of his saints. In the course of time, the mosque was covered with jungle. It was extensively renovated after its discovery in the early twentieth century.

Mathurapur Deul

 
 

Deul is located 1.5 km north of Madhukhali Bazar on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Gajna union of Madhukhali upazila of the district. The 90-foot carved deul is often made of red brick, and the terracotta deul is all over the walls with terracotta plaques. Dancing men and women, Hanuman with bow and arrow, owl, portrait of headless man, running horse etc. It is easy to reach Madhukhali by bus from Faridpur and then by rickshaw.

Aulia Mosque

 
 

This mosque is located in Patrail village of Bhanga upazila. It is known that Sultan Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah built the mosque between 1393 and 1410 AD. Next to it there is a huge lake of about 33 acres. It is thought to be contemporary with the mosque.

Munshi Abdur Rauf Museum

Bir Shrestha Lance Naik Munshi Abdur Rouf Museum at Rupnagar in Kamarkhali Union, 10 km west of Madhukhali Upazila of the district. This heroic army was born here on May 1, 1943. While working in the EPR of Chittagong, he was martyred on 25 March 1971 by a mortar shell during a battle with the Pak army on the Mahalchhari waterway in Rangamati. But fight with heroism till death. Munshi Abdur Rauf has been awarded the title of Bir Shrestha, the highest honor of the liberation war of Bangladesh for his outstanding heroism. A museum has been officially set up in Rupnagar to commemorate his sacrifice. At the initiative of the locals, the previous name of the village has also been changed to his name.
